A legendary South Wales road trip itinerary
The branch offers a wide range of events including an annual dinner, a one-day conference, evening events and site visits. We encourage networking between members at all events. We recognise the different needs of our members who are new to the profession and offer introductory as well as advanced level events. We also look for opportunities for events on key projects of local interest, such as the new Southmead Hospital. Through our Branch Corporate Advisory Group BCAG , we work closely with our local Corporate Members and Higher Education Institutions to ensure we understand their needs and how we can work together for the benefit of all of our members.

Businesses will need to register, and can do so through a simple website, open next Monday. Each week in August, businesses can then claim the money back, with the funds in their bank account within five working days. In Wales, the sector has tentatively welcomed the news, but reiterated the urgent need for Welsh Government to provide a timeline on inside opening. Simon Wright, independent restaurateur, broadcaster and food writer, speaking on behalf of the Welsh Independent Restaurant Collective, said:.
We welcome the clear recognition from the Chancellor that hospitality needs additional support. However, in Wales, it all relies upon us being open; the First Minister needs to end uncertainty and provide hope to the thousands of small businesses that are waiting to hear from him. And speaking last week, Shumana Palit, co-founder of the Ultracomida Group who own two deli-restaurants in Narberth and Aberystwyth, as well as Curado Bar and Vermut in Cardiff city centre, highlighted the problem with outdoor-only opening, saying:.
It makes no difference for us at all. Earlier this week, the Welsh Independent Restaurant Collective warned of 30, job losses in the hospitality sector unless urgent action was taken. The survey was carried out on July, at a time when Wales is the only UK nation without a date for reopening.

UK holidays with Haven at Quay West Holiday Park in New Quay, South West Wales. Book online for a great family holiday in a picturesque location.
Start date : Mid-September or early January The start date will depend both on the level of access available at Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales, pending developments stemming from the response to COVID, and also on the personal preferences of the successful candidate as to when they would rather start. This project will explore hoards and hoarding practices in south-east and south-west Wales during the Later Bronze Age BC.
It is anticipated that the student will spend the majority of their studies based in, or close to, Cardiff, however they will also regularly attend meetings and access resources, support and training provided by the University of Reading. This project will involve a new study of Later Bronze Age hoards and hoarding practices in south-east and south-west Wales. Taking the chronological span BC, the study will include gold jewellery items, bronze tools, weapons and casting evidence.
In south-east Wales, there is a steep observed peak in the frequency of hoarding during this period, meriting its study as one of the regional hoarding ‘hot-spots’ in Britain.
We want to change this. Engage to Change will be in Carmarthen on 25 September with our brand new Roadshow, bringing together people with a learning disability and autism, parents and carers, employers, local businesses, decision-makers and more to let you know how this project can benefit you. Engage to Change may be able to support you to learn new skills and gain experience in the workplace, all with the aim of moving into paid employment.
At this event you will be able to hear all about the experiences of other young people like you who have succeeded through the project.
